The perfect place to stay for your visit to Chichester. Our bed and breakfast accommodation is conveniently located in Westhampnett, on the outskirts of Chichester cathedral city. We are the closest B&B to Goodwood Motor Circuit; a wonderful place to stay if you are attending one of the Goodwood Estate’s signature events, including the Festival of Speed or the Revival. The Chichester Festival Theatre is within easy access too.
Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, The Old School B&B is ideal for people who wish to be in a great location to enjoy the many attractions of Chichester and the South Downs National Park, happy in the knowledge they have a welcoming home-from-home to relax and unwind in after a day of exploring.

In addition to your en suite bedroom, you are welcome to relax in our comfortable guest sitting room, with a cosy log fire on cold days. Or, unwind amongst the many plants in our lush conservatory!

Enjoy the most important meal of the day in the conservatory, the dining room, or al fresco in the garden during the summer. We have a great range of delicious cooked breakfasts, including vegetarian and vegan options too!

There are many ways to book a B&B. We always aim to offer you the best price and the most flexible cancellation policy if you book direct via our website, the phone or email.
Other than by prior arrangement with your hosts at The Old School B&B, check-in is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. daily. We offer early check-in from 1 p.m. with guaranteed room access as a chargeable extra, subject to confirmation of availability. Check-out is strictly by 10:30 a.m. and late check-out fees apply.
Our cancellation policy varies across the year, but we always aim to offer the most flexible policy for direct bookings. The cancellation policy for your preferred dates can be found by using the Check Availability box at the top of our homepage, or contact us for confirmation. During Goodwood main event dates all reservations are payable on booking and non-refundable.
We do not accommodate dogs or other pets.
We are primarily an adults only accommodation. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss exceptions for older children. Our guest rooms have a maximum capacity of two people and any child accommodated may only share a room with one adult. Please note we have a large and deep pond in the garden. Children visiting The Old School must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Due to the age and layout of the building, The Old School B&B may not be accessible for all people. There are raised thresholds between the breakfast room and bedroom areas, and a number of small steps between the parking area and B&B entrance, and throughout the garden.
