When the building closed as a school in 1967 it was brought by a BBC producer who used it as a weekend retreat for his show biz friends, including The Goons. The room is named after Spike, who is known to have been a regular visitor. There is rumoured to be an original Milligan artwork hidden in the house!
The Milligan Room combines antique elegance with contemporary chic. Enjoy a great night’s sleep in the king-size wrought iron bed, with Georgian commode bedsides. The ensuite facilities include a lovely large shower to freshen up in.
